Help Fund tHE CHAPEL FOR BARANGAY SIBUNOT
Let's Build a Church is helping the community of Barangay Sibunot, in Northern Samar, Philippines to build their community church on top of the hill. This church will be built in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
Barangay Sibunot is one of the poorest villages in the country. Houses are made out of nipa palm leaves, bamboos and cogon grass. The main livelihood is manual farming and most of the kids have to walk several miles to go to school. The community maybe lacking financially but they are rich in spirit! The make shift chapel that they built brings them closer to Christ even more.
With the help of The Missionary Sisters of the Poor of Christ, the local parish priest and Fr. Adolfo Novio we encourage everyone to please help us "Let's Build a Church!"
Financial and Living Assistance for kids
On a regular basis we are helping and sending underprivileged children to school regardless of their scholastic performance as long as they are willing to learn and go to school. We understand that scholastic performance is greatly affected by their economic standing, nutrition and environment of the children. Our organization aims to alleviate the hardships and sufferings that these children are experiencing at an early age. Most of them have to wake up early and help in the fields, others would do manual labor in the neighboring towns. Education and faith formation are some of the key factors to create a good citizen of the world and better world for the new generation.
